A story with funny, engaging characters, it was filled with people who I would like to meet. The plucky heroine, Day McKelvey, journalist and detective sleuth is warm, funny, ethical and smart who loves her mother, her girlfriends, boyfriends and colleagues. I found Vernon and Weber's writing to be sharp and vivid. I especially like their colorful use of metaphors throughout the story. I highly recommend it as a book to read in both sunny and stormy weather. Guaranteed to entertain and delight detection fiction lovers.Product details

I had been patiently waiting for this second book after reading the first Amber Adams book in this new series. My only disappointment - was when I finished it and realized I had to wait until the next book to read more about these characters. This was such a fun read - I love a good mystery and Deadly Listings was well written. "Get writing Amber" - fan are waiting!
I've read all three in the series and love everyone of them, the storylines are great and keep you on the edge of your seat. I always feel like I'm there in the story. The characters are great and you can't help but want more.I
What a fun read! Especially enjoyable for Saint Augustine residents but a good story for all. You can actually give it to your kids and grandkids.
Deadly Listings was even better than the first Amber Adams novel and I loved that one! Great characters, fun setting in St. Augustine and a plot that keeps you guessing! I will be looking forward to the next mystery!
I enjoyed this novel so much. I like love the city where it takes place, St. Augustine, FL. I tried to solve the mystery, thought I did, but, alas, I was wrong.
I liked the way the authors described people and their habits and developed the plot. It seemed very real and the humor brought some levity to the story. You never know who commits the murders until the very end. I think it is a great mystery and I recommend it to others.
In the second book in the Day McKelvey Mystery series set in historic St. Augustine, Day's r high school friend, a real estate agent, is murdered.
