Being new to trapping, I found Wasserman's book to be a good lead-in for beginning trappers and no doubt an enhancement for the experienced. His relating of his beginning days with his brother was very heartwarming. I found the book very interesting, informative and helpful. While no doubt the title "Trapping Secrets" is appropriate, I found it interesting when he commented that successful trapping boils down to advanced planning, simple sets and hard work. Trappers are successful because they have a strategy, work smart, and work hard. I might add that they follow a helpful book like Wasserman's. He clearly explains the different traps and how to use them. He takes the reader right down to ground level to view the set up close and personal from the animal's perspective. A more accurate guide would be hard to find. I enjoyed his sharing the experiences with his daughter. I encourage anyone interested in getting involved with this past time or improving on existing skills to read his book. I feel you will be very satisfied.

This product was received in good condition and has not yet been given to its recipient. However, when he receives it, I'm sure he will love it.
